Country singer/songwriter Megan Moroney announces her forthcoming AM I OKAY? TOUR — a spring/summer 2025 headline running March through August. Firmly establishing her as an elite headliner, the 25-date North American tour will find the unstoppable Country sensation playing for her biggest crowds to date. The Am I Okay? Tour hits Milwaukee on July 17th at The Eagles Ballroom.
The latest in a hot streak of headline tours for Moroney, the AM I OKAY? TOUR follows wildly successful runs like THE LUCKY 2.0 TOUR (a spring/summer 2024 trek that sold out in just five minutes) and the GEORGIA GIRL TOUR (a just-launched, nearly sold-out 15-date tour of the UK and Europe). With stops in major cities all across North America — the AM I OKAY? TOUR will feature Moroney’s debut performance at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City (on March 26).
Fresh off playing stadiums all summer long as support for Kenny Chesney’s SUN GOES DOWN 2024 TOUR, Moroney has emerged as one of Country music’s most exciting live acts in recent years. To that end, The Aspen Times praised her performance on THE LUCKY 2.0 TOUR, stating that “[s]he might not fit neatly into the traditional country mold, but perhaps that’s precisely what makes her so compelling. As she continues her rise, it will be interesting to see where this ‘Emo Cowgirl’ takes us next.” Meanwhile, Billboard raved about her set on the SUN GOES DOWN 2024 TOUR and declared that “[w]ielding her sparkly guitar and a confident saunter, Moroney proved that while her own songs offer heart-on-her-sleeve lyrical constructions and a pop-twang fusion, she can make a classic heartland song all her own, too.”
The AM I OKAY? TOUR takes its name from Moroney’s recently released sophomore album — a major critical triumph that debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and marked the year’s third-biggest debut from a female Country artist. Along with its gloriously catchy title track (a hit single currently dominating Country radio), Am I Okay? features fan favorites like “No Caller ID” — a post-breakup ballad that recently shattered the record for the biggest Country female song debut in streams in the U.S. Since arriving in July, the album has earned acclaim from leading outlets like Rolling Stone (“Moroney’s deft way around a lyric and producer Kristian Bush’s radio-ready touch combine to make this one of the most enjoyable listening experiences of the year”), Variety (“establishes that she’s one of traditional-leaning country’s best and brightest new standard-bearers”), and The New York Times (“Moroney’s brand of truth-telling, equally funny and wounded, has struck a chord”).
With no signs of slowing down, Moroney racked up a number of nominations from The 58th Annual CMA Awards, including FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR, NEW ARTIST OF THE YEAR, and MUSIC VIDEO OF THE YEAR for "I'm Not Pretty." |
